In collaboration with local NGOs, GDRI implemented a women's economic empowerment program in rural areas. Gender Norms at Work Study (2024)

Gender Norms at Work:

In collaboration with the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), GDRI investigated gender norm impacts in Bangladesh's manufacturing sector. Through a randomized study and a year-long gender sensitivity curriculum, we aimed to understand gender attitudes' influence on interactions and productivity. Our findings guided strategies for fostering gender equality, employee satisfaction, and enhanced productivity.
