Name Dr. Hee-Seung Yang

Dr. Hee-Seung Yang is a distinguished economist specializing in labor, public, and development economics, with additional expertise in applied econometrics and health economics. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, following a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science, respectively, from Yonsei University. 

Currently, Dr. Yang serves as a Professor at the School of Economics, Yonsei University, in Seoul, South Korea. His research has been published in esteemed journals, including the Korean Economic Review, Journal of Development Effectiveness, and Oxford Economic Papers. Notably, his work on the effects of initial labor market conditions on job polarization in South Korea has provided valuable insights into labor economics. 

In addition to his research, Dr. Yang is dedicated to teaching and mentoring. He offers courses such as 'Impact Evaluation for Policy Analysis' and 'Development Economics' at both graduate and undergraduate levels at Yonsei University. His commitment to advancing economic research and education has established him as a leading figure in his field.
